Summer Holidays
In Summer 2025 we will be running two Senior holidays for those who are in school year 9-13 (as of September 2024), as well as 'Week Zero' (for those in Sixth-Form).
Our Senior A & Senior B holidays happen at More House School in the beautiful Surrey countryside.
Week Zero happens at Aldro School, a beautiful boarding house in Surrey. This holiday will be the same as Senior A & Senior B except that it will be just for Sixth Formers.
2025 holidays
WEEK ZERO (years 12-13)
9th-16th July
Cost: £510
——
SENIOR A (years 9-13)
17th-25th July
SENIOR B (years 9-13)
26th July – 3rd August
Cost: £545
Cost
The cost of ‘Week Zero’ is £510, and the cost of our Senior A & Senior B holidays is £545, which includes full board and all activities (but this does not include the cost of travel to and from the holiday). The cost is kept to a minimum as the Leaders and Assistant Leaders all contribute towards the costs of running the holidays.
Bursaries are available for those who would otherwise be unable to come. To avoid disruption to groups and activities, we are generally unable to accept bookings for only part of the holiday.
People
Up to 80 young people come on each of the holidays drawn from a variety of schools with which we have links. Do enquire to find out if we have links with a particular school.
There will be a good number of newcomers on every holiday and we work hard to provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Each person is part of a small group with two or three Leaders assigned to look after them.
The holidays are led by the LDN staff team, assisted by a large team of (DBS checked) volunteers including many school teachers and undergraduates.
Location
Our Senior holidays are held at More House School (Senior A & Senior B) and Aldro School (Week Zero), both beautiful secondary boarding schools situated in rural Surrey. They have wonderful facilities in their grounds and a wealth of other activities nearby. You can see more details of More House School and its facilities here, and of Aldro School here.
