Safety & Safeguarding

The safety and well-being of every individual on our holidays is of paramount importance.

Safeguarding

As part of our commitment to the safety and well-being of every individual on our holidays, our safeguarding policy is regularly reviewed and updated to keep it in line with the very latest best practice. You can find a copy of our Safeguarding Statement here. All staff, trustees and volunteers are required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) every three years and also have satisfactory references in place as part of our Safeguarding Policy. Staff and volunteers receive regular safeguarding training and we are members of safeguarding charity Thirtyone:eight. There is a medically qualified leader on hand with responsibility for healthcare during the holidays.

If you have any safeguarding concerns or want to report a safeguarding matter relating to the Titus Trust please contact our Safeguarding Co-ordinator, Rosie Dunn, on 0300 302 0145 or safeguarding@titustrust.org.

Safety

We take the safety of all participants very seriously. All activities (in-house and outsourced) are supervised by suitably experienced and qualified adults. For water-based activities, participants must be confident in water.

The Titus Trust holds Public Liability Insurance covering all our holidays.
